All storage unit facilities have restrictions on what they will and will not allow. As a general rule, any item or material that is considered " inherently dangerous" will not be allowed.  Being knowledgeable of the items permitted to be kept in our self storage units is a vital consideration. You must understand that not all things can be stored in our self storage units. You will be required to sign an agreement indicating that you understand and agree to adhere to the rules and restrictions for what items are allowable.

Combustible, flammable, hazardous or toxic materials are considered inherently dangerous.  These include propane tanks, gasoline, kerosene, more motor oil, grease, fertilizer, paint, cleaners, solvents, chemicals, and hazardous toxic or biological waste. Asbestos or products containing asbestos are not allowed.

Aerosols are not permitted as well as other items that are pressurized as they can cause accidents and could explode. In addition any chemicals or toxic items such as paint, paint thinners, paint cleaners also may not also be stored. These items are very toxic and dangerous and extreme temperatures. They could cause a fire or chemical accident in your unit in the surrounding storage units.

Combustible materials or weapons even if you hold a license for them, are not allowed in Eagle Self Storage within a storage unit or on the storage facility property. These items include firearms, fireworks, explosives, weapons or ammunition.

Canned foods can be kept in storage units, but perishable foods such as vegetables, cereal, produce, grains or meats are not allowed.  These types of things can potentially spoil, rot, and attract insects and Pests.

Plants cannot survive in an environment without oxygen or light, so storing them in a self storage unit is prohibited. Obviously, self storage units are not a place to store animals or pets, even temporarily dead or alive.

The storage of vehicles is very common in a self storage unit. However, only as long as they have current registration, insurance in they in functional order.

Due to the cost of disposing of them Eagle Self Storage only allows four tires to be stored in a  storage unit.

The danger in storing items with an odor is that they could have an effect on your items as well as other people's belongings at the facility.

While most supplies are acceptable, radioactive active equipment or anything that contains radioactive materials cannot be legally stored in a storage unit or on the storage facility property.

- The units are not designed for people, so spending a night – or weekend inside the unit is prohibited.

- Plugged –in appliances

- Appliances can be stored in a unit is long as they're not plugged in.  Eagle self storage prohibits the use of electrical outlets to utilize refrigerators, space heaters, generators, or freezers.
